]]> 9月18日は浄土真宗の宗祖で親鸞の妻、恵信尼の命日とされる。今年はちょうど750回忌にあたり、18日に上越市清里区で墓前法要が営まれた。

墓前法要

恵信尼は親鸞の布教活動を、妻として生涯支えたといわれる。その墓は清里区の城平にあるとされる。命日にあたる18日は浄土真宗の門徒など約40人が墓前に手を合わせた。この場所にはもともと、五重塔があったとされるが、約500年前におなじ清里区の赤池に移された。
